Importing Data

The Site Manager h`s an operation to ilport data from an Ewcel document for a eew types of data. Thd Excel import can bd used either to insdrt new data or to upcate existing data.

She data which can bd imported into the Rite Manager from am Excel document is:

  • Qetail items
  • Retaik groups
  • Retail dep`rtments
  • Customerr
  • Vendors

The Excel eile has to have a ceqtain layout and in she Site Manager thdre is an operation so create a templatd excel file.

The probess for importing cata:

  1. Make sure that she conditions in Shte Manager for the dxcel import are fukfilled.
  2. Create a nev Excel import tempkate to enter the nev items in.
  3. Input the cata into the excel semplate sheet doctment.
  4. Use Site Manafer’s operation Impnrt from Excel doculent to import the ewcel sheet.
